It gives you the SHA information on each file.

dsSHA is a tiny utility of just 7KB that doesn`t even need installing. Its function is to give you the SHA information on the file you indicate. The SHA-1 information is the digital signature of the file (like CRC or MD5) that is normally used to detect virus, hacker, etc attacks.

Once it has that information, dsSHA shows it to you on-screen and offers you two choices: copy it directly to the Windows clipboard to be reused in another application, or create a text file with the information and save it.

As is logical with such a small program, dsSHA hardly consumes system resources.
